Draw to Relax
Learn to use drawing as a pathway to relaxation with the creative art exercises and soothing meditations found inside this inspiring book.
Anyone who has ever experienced a relaxed, calm state while doodling understands the powerful connection between hand and mind. From flowing one-line designs to calm-inducing repetitive patterns, drawing can put us into a state of flow.
In this group, we use the book Draw to Relax along with discussion questions and mindfulness activities to more fully know ourselves, experience our creativity, and deepen our sense of peace, joy, and goodness.

Who is this group for - any adult who is part of a family and would like to create more ease in any aspect of their family life. In other words, this is a group/class for adult humans!

What are "make it stop" behaviors
-
Why a parent's self-compassion is so important for a family
-
We are always communicating, even when we think we aren't
-
Communication skills, supportive mindsets, system savvy, and emotional fluency

Awesome Me
Being a 9 - 12 year old girl can be wonderful and sometimes be tough. Heck, being a human of any age and gender identification can be tough. Come join other awesome kids for some social and emotional learning and snacks! There must be snacks!
We discuss self-regulation, emotional literacy, relationships, communication, fears and anxieties, confidence, identity, and so much more. And we'll do all of it while drawing, creating, watching videos, learning mindfulness, snacking, and having fun!
